What an honor. This month the owner of our company, Jeff Lutz, was featured in two pest management professional publications. The first publication he is featured in is the June edition of PMP magazine. In the magazine edition, he and several other bee removal professionals contribute and discuss the highlights and challenges of saving and relocating bee swarms and colonies.
The second publication is a “web exclusive” which is a digital version of the article in the PMP magazine. This online version goes into much greater detail and focuses solely on Jeff, Bee Best Bee Removal, and the business of bee removal. The focus of both articles is to provide other pest control operators with good information regarding the business of bee removal. Believe it or not, many pest control technicians who don’t specialize in bees are often misinformed about bee removal and beekeeping.
For instance, there are many pest control companies who tell their customers that wild honeybees are endangered. This misconception is also common among the general public. The truth of the matter is that wild honeybees are not endangered at all. Recently The Sierra Club released a very informative article that clears up that misconception.
So in addition to dispelling the most common myths about bee removal, the articles also go into depth about the common mistakes pest control companies make, when trying to resolve a bee problem. By providing this information, Jeff Lutz is giving pest control companies (that don’t specialize in bees) valuable advice that will only help them in their business.
Jeff Lutz has owned and operated Bee Best Bee Removal since 1993 and has performed over 20 thousand bee removals with his company. Prior to owning his own company, he also worked as a bee removal technician for another company for over ten years.
