Project Description
This was a Church property in San Diego near Navajo road
Pest control contractors found this hive during their routine work on the property. They have had several issues in this same area over a period of time.
We went out to take a look to see what else may be going on. While they have an exposed hive what appears to be isolated to the outside eave of the roof… it turns out that there was older hive material inside of a hole in the facia board.
The visible portion of the hive was 2-3 months old while the hive on the inside was about a year old.
It’s always good to know that if you plan on having a pest control ONLY company take care of your bees there’s a high probability that re-infestation will occur. Not because they don’t do a good job, it’s because they wont remove the hive especially if it’s inside of a wall void or roof. We are usually called to come in after a pest control company for structural hive removal.
We take great pride in removing old non-active hives from walls, roofs and other structures. Cutting into a structure takes experience and skill that is acquired over many years. Take a look at our structural jobs to see our before and after photos.
